About Opportunity House
Our mission is to break the cycle of homelessness for women, men, families, and transitional age youth in Solano County. Through collaborative and locally-driven solutions that connect those in need to community resources, we believe we can help achieve this vision!

We have helped thousands achieve their goal of self-sufficiency, aiding the diverse needs of the populations we serve.

Supportive Services
We provide an “umbrella” of services, including transitional and alternative housing, support services, mentorship and volunteer programs.

Homeless Assistance
Our partners at RCS help clients access housing and supportive services. RCS identifies and facilitates the most appropriate response to each individual's immediate and long-term housing needs.

Safe and Secure Housing
Opportunity House provides a safe place for residents to feel comfortable, monitored by staff 24/7.

Youth Outreach
Through My Friend’s House we offer low-barrier access for local teens who are homeless or are at-risk of experiencing homelessness. Youth can receive essential services like food, clothing, and supplies.

Drug-free Environment
Fostering a clean environment, free of alcohol and drugs to provide a pathway to productive lifestyles.

Case Management
Building trust with a dedicated Case Manager to help set and achieve personal goals, including family reconciliation, financial savings, and more!

Life-skills Training
Residents participate in daily group meetings on topics such as personal finance, parenting, and recovery support in order to build important life skills needed to sustain a healthy life outside of the shelter.
